The Languedoc is an outstandingly fascinating area of the south of France offering 300 days of sunshine a year and unbeatable variety.  Choose from many excellent Mediterranean beaches, explore Cathar castles, experience the beauty of rolling hills, meandering rivers, undulating vineyards, sun-baked olive groves and mountain ranges.  Visit cosmopolitan cities, historic towns and sleepy villages and enjoy the freshest seafood also not forgetting the vast choice of superb wines, as this is the world’s largest vineyard area. The list goes on and on and La Bergerie de Laval in Tourbes on the outskirts of Pezenas is superbly located to enjoy all that this area of the Languedoc has to offer.

A little about us ...

We are Sonia and John, we moved to France in 2011.  After many years of a busy, stressful lifestyle in England running a construction business, an alpine rental property and raising a family, we had dreamed of our ‘escape’ to France, so then with the children grown up it was time to realise our dream.  We’re still working hard although the pace is not quite so frenetic and we enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle.  We love the outdoor life and are keen cyclists, skiers and walkers and have also enjoyed scuba diving in the past and hope to again, at some point.  We, together with our lovable spaniel, Sam, look forward to sharing our lovely house with you should you choose to come and stay.
